Freelance Journalism
I am a freelance journalist and contribute regularly to the Easton Courier newspaper (samples on the Newspaper Clips page). Having to write on a weekly basis is every writers dream and sometime nightmare.
Web Design
But then another part of me likes to work with code and colors designing Web sites (samples on the Web Design page). I am proficient in HTML and CSS and design using Dreamweaver and Fireworks software.
Film
I also have a background in film and video production with a MFA degree in film from New York University and 10+ years experience in New York City and Connecticut. I am currently developing a documentary on homeopathy.
Origins
I was born and raised in New York City, which was great. But something about the Aspetuck Valley in Fairfield County, Connecticut captured my imagination. Its abundance of reservoirs and forests and beaches and wide open fields inspired the name for my company.
A few more things
* I have a BA in English from Union College in Schenectady, NY.
* I took film animation at Columbia University in New York, NY.
* I have coached writers.
* I have written three feature-length screenplays.
* I have done a lot of things I wasn't sure I could do when I started.
